Bentonite Clay (Super-fine Mesh)
Bentonite Clay. Very fine powder, one of the best. The self-stickiness of bentonite allows high-pressure ramming or pressing of the clay in molds to produce hard, refractory shapes, such as model rocket engine nozzles, and homemade black powder rocket engine nozzles. Simply ram a portion with a hammer into a sturdy tube with a close-fitting rod; bentonite will form a very hard, consolidated plug that is not easily crumbled. Grog can be used with Bentonite clay to form a more solid and longer lasting nozzle for your High powered rocket engines. Bentonite clay may also be used in Pyrotechnics applications to make end plugs and other types of molded formations, such as for Smoke Bombs.
